I found this sign on my way to an assignment. I thought it was just an abandoned place, but it was in front of someone's home. Someone came out and yelled at me. :-P But then i just told him i liked his sign and he were cool with me.

It's a lucky day.So, we're walking Lola through a soccer field and Andrew asks, "hey do you want to sit in the grass all day and look for 4 leaf clovers?" I giggled and jokingly responded, "sure!" Then he asked, "Have you ever found one before?" I said, " i don't think so..." Andrew stops, bends down, barely looking, he picks a 4 leaf clover out of the grass and says, "here's one." ..... He really picked it just like that.
I'm still in shock.

I had a second assignment today, I was supposed to photograph a race at Oswego Speedway, but it was canceled. SO on my way home, I found this.

I think something might be wrong with the sign... i don't really know.

I photographed Jeff Guerin who was injured in Afghanistan in 2004. He's had serious problems with his vision and legs ever since. Houses for Veterans is building him a new handy cap accessible home so he doesn't have to live in his parent's living room and dining room anymore. It's been a tough rode for him, and I think that one can stay positive for only so long. He's super nice, has an incredibly loving family, and loves marvel comics.

I got to go up in a hot air balloon today!!! Woo! never thought I would do that in a million years. It was actually fun. very crowded and loud, but smoootth sailing. Here are a couple from my take.

Alright, So... I know I don't live in the best part of town... but this morning was definitely the kicker. Quite often one will hear ambulances, police, and fire trucks zoom past on this lovely street. Being a journalist, I'm always rushing to one of the windows to see where they're headed. It's never very interesting. However, this morning at around 8:30 AM, the ambulances, police, and fire trucks stopped in front of 1633. WoW, something is actually happening here! Well....

Turns out one of the fellow tenants was walking in the front foyer and saw a man on the ground, thought it was a drunk or homeless person that stumbled in over night. She tried talking to him but noticed something was wrong. He was dead. ...

It's probably some John Doe, no one knows what really happened. Surely, he didn't live here. Many people are coming to their own conclusions as to why or how he got there and how he died. But, nonetheless, I hope they find out who he is in case he has a family. And, maybe now there will be better security at the front entrance of the building. Probably not.

Well, it's hot out, I feel creepy, and need a nap.

momma... we're not in syracuse no more.
