Something I've wanted to post for a while.

Some of my notes from when photographer Stephen Wilkes visited SU and gave a presentation before his work on the opening premiere of The Express:

• Feed your soul as photographers
• Go with things, take risks, adapt
• If you feel too comfy, then you're not working hard enough
• Get out there and put yourself out there and push yourself during these years
• Allow yourself to be open and experience things and relax
• Walk in like you own the place and they'll never touch you
• Sometimes when someone pushes you, you get stronger -Katrina victim
• When you least think there is something, stay open and look
• Stay hungry
• The more you practice, the luckier you get... like playing the piano
• Allow yourself to react and to see things
