Veterans Don't Talk About That.

My time at Poynter is coming to an end. I haven't had the chance to blog much, but I have plenty of snapshots of my life to show. I worked on an audio narrative (first time for everything!) at an American Legion. I spent most of my time very nervous about it. But, I was here to push myself and try new things. It turned out to be a ton of fun.

One Last Time in Syracuse

I went to Syracuse for the last time yesterday. And now begins the Adventures of Steph: St Pete and the Adventures of Steph: Illinois ( I'll be blogging about my thoughts on Illinois (part 1) soon. I can't wait. Still haven't figured out how the heck i'm going to pack everything but... as long as i have my gear and some shoes, I'll be fine.  :-)

One last visit to Joe and Sara's. Joe with his new lens. We bombarded Sara with pics. lol

One last time at Alto Cinco... mm I couldn't decided between the barry salad or the covered burrito. I went with the burrito.

One last time with the girls. Sleep over at Allison's! Jessica insists that I only put photos of her on my blog that make her look crazy. I... have no idea what she's talking about.

Elisha just had to bring chocolate!! haha

I say one last time, but I don' t mean it. I know I'll see all of my Syracuse family again. There is no doubt in my mind. It's just one last time for now.

finally, I developed my 120 film from my Diana. I love that little camera and would like to shoot with it more. I only had a 35mm negative scanner, so these are a bit cropped. But, they are cool anyway. Most of these are from last summer. 

Final Days in Syracuse

Here are some shots from my final days in Syracuse NY. Hopefully, I'll only be going back there to visit. However, I'm am going to miss my friends terribly. We've all gotten really close, and of coarse, now it's time to go. Ahhh the life of a traveling gypsy band. I'm ready, a bit scared... not really... more excited and jittery to move onto the next thing. It's another adventure wherever I end up. I have some long term and near future goals that I hope to begin and accomplish before or at the beginning of next year. So in the word of the Joker from the Dark Knight... "and here... we.... go." Except something is actually going to happen unlike in the movie. Okay enough rambling...

My "foster" parents for the past several days. My loves Sara and Joe Blum took me in, for i had to move out a few weeks early. We had a good time!
